Head Chef - Salary - negotiable - meals on duty and live-in available
An elegant hotel located just minutes from the centre of Bath is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join their brigade of 5. The hotel offers 60 superb bedrooms individually furnished in traditional style set in delightful gardens with views over the city.
The hotel boasts an award winning restaurant with AA Rosette serving Bistro style food. The kitchen also services the bar area and conference and banqueting suites. The hotel hosts approximately 14 weddings a year.
The ideal candidate would have between 1-2 years experience in a similar role. You would be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and be control aspects such as budgeting, staff training, staff wages, GP. Also would be working alongside the Deputy Manager with regards to menu costing and planning.
The successful person will be a team player, have great communication skills and be able to use their own initiative. AA Rosette experience is advantageous but not essential.
